Juvederm, Vollure, Voluma, and Volbella Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring molecule. Much like a sponge, its primary function is to bind and absorb water, which creates volume in the face. In this way, Hyaluronic acid can be thought of as the body’s internal moisturizer. But, as we age, HA diminishes, which contributes to the presence of lines and folds. Juvéderm injectable gel works to correct this by restoring hyaluronic acid in your skin, helping to diminish wrinkles and nasolabial folds. Juvederm treatments are quick and comfortable with immediate results lasting upto one year.

 

Optimal Correction with Juvederm

Juvéderm Voluma XC is another HA filler in the Allergan familly of products designed to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile for up to two years. It’s different than Juvéderm Ultra XC and Juvéderm Ultra XC Plus and works on a different area of the face. It is not approved for use in the lips, nasolabial folds, or any other lower face lines/wrinkles.

Treatments with Juvéderm Voluma XC generally require multiple syringes of filler to acheive full correction and may require multiple injection visits to allow the product to settle before building on top of it.  Your doctor may recommend complementing your Voluma treatment with Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus to restore balance to the face as volume is added.

Juvéderm Volbella XC is an HA filler option designed specifically to add subtle volume to the lips and soften the appearance of vertical lip lines.  The lighter consistency of this member of the Juvederm family makes it an excellent option for even the finest vertical lip lines, or for plumping lips without altering the shape of the lip itself.
